Welcome to Suwanee Town Center

Welcome to Suwanee Town Center

A vibrant mixed-use area, anchored by a 10-acre urban-style park,TownCenterembodies Suwaneea™s vision for aœlivea¦worka¦playa¦shop.a It is the place that comes to mind when you think of Suwanee, offering a sense of communitya¦a sense of belonginga¦a sense of home.

First envisioned in 2002, Suwaneea™s nearly complete, built-from-scratchTownCenterhas quickly become the physical and symbolic heart of our community.

Located at the intersection of Lawrenceville-Suwanee   Roadand Buford   Highway, two of Suwaneea™s busiest roadways, TownCenterrepresents a bold and innovative response to two distinct community goals: to preserve open space and create more parks and to assemble a stand-out-in-the-crowd, energetic, and aesthetically appealing downtown and primary community gathering place.

A key component of downtown Suwanee, the award-winningTownCenterproject is a public-private partnership that envelopes more than 63 acres, including a 40-acre privately developed traditional neighborhood (Shadowbrook atTownCenter). When completed later this year,TownCenterwill encompass more than 100,000 square feet of retail space, 87,000 square feet of office space, 147 townhome and condominium units, 85 single-family homes, and, of course, the 10-acre Town Center Park.

TownCenteralso is home to Suwaneea™s iconic City Hall, opened in February 2009. City Hall is located at330 Town Center Avenue.

Suwaneea™s a˜front yarda™

Opened in December 2003,TownCenterParkfunctions as Suwaneea™s aœfront yarda and primary gathering place. Its classic and attractive design, which features three interlinking walkways, the largest interactive fountain inGwinnettCounty, large open areas, and a performance stage with a 1,000-seat terraced amphitheater area, makeTownCenterParkideal for community gatherings.

The park also is a great place to meet a friend or two for a walk or jog or for some unstructured play timeasplashing in the fountain, flying kites, riding a bike or pushing a scooter, throwing a Frisbee, or kicking a ball.

TownCenterParkis where Suwanee gathers for community events. People from throughout metroAtlantahave come to the park to catch musical performances by regional and national favorites.TownCenterParkhas successfully hosted intimate events for only a few hundred as well as rock concerts with nearly 15,000 in attendance. The annual aœcelebration of community,a Suwanee Day, brings about 40,000 people to the park the third Saturday in September each year.

McGinnis Reserve, a new home community, located just around the corner from Suwanee Town Center has gorgeous new homes to view. There are 6 homes remaining at one of Suwaneea™s most desirable communities!
