Make plans to attend the Norcross Art Fest in Historic Downtown Norcross this weekend as it celebrates its ninth season on October 6 and 7, 2012.  The popular Art Fest, named aœThe Festival with Personalitya by visitors, features over 165 artisans from across the country exhibiting their imaginative and whimsical artwork.  A perfect start to the fall season, the Norcross Art Fest continues to excite shoppers with the wide variety of fun art, fantastic food and fine crafts each year, earning the festival the awards for aœEvent of The Yeara by the Gwinnett Convention and Visitors Bureau and aœBest Festivala by the readers of Inside Gwinnett Magazine for 2010 and 2011.

Continuous entertainment on Thrasher Parka™s intimate stage welcomes music lovers each year with oldies, blues and jazz with a special performance by Julie Gribble on Saturday at 6pm.  And, you will want to make sure that you stop by the Chairs for Charity booth.  Sponsored by the Norcross Arts Alliance, all proceeds from these one-of-a-kind chairs go back to support the arts programs of our Norcross schools.  In addition, the Kidz Zone keeps the kids entertained with the childrena™s art pavilion offering children craft projects, face painting, kiddie train rides, inflatables and rides.
