Home South Communities currently builds new homes in the northern suburbs of Atlanta that appeal to first, second and even third-time move-up buyers. According to Palmer, move-up home buyers are primarily interested in the homes location, the ease of multigenerational living and maximizing the home for its value. In some areas, Home South is even so granular as to check test scores all the way down to the elementary school level to ensure homeowners will be sending their children to the top schools in the area.
