"As The Cable Company Pulls Cable" - Cypress Springs

OK Time for an Update of the continuing afternoon saga of “As The Cable Company Pulls Cable”.

I originally fooled my complaint with the PSC on the 8th of June. The very next week, it was either the 11th or 12th I received a call from the New York office of Charter Communications. Much to my surprise the caller said he was there to help remedy the situation. He went on to tell me there may be some cost involved as if I were offering to pay the cable company to wire the subdivision so they could sell cable to the residents. Ya that is going to happen, regulated utilities get granted a monopoly control of an area to compensate them for the cost of building out infrastructure. It is something they need to do on their dime. The gentleman said he would have an answer by Friday the15th.

I got a call back on the 15th to tell me that they were still working on the process and should have an answer sometime next week. I though OK as long as something is being done and you are updating me, progress is good.

On Tuesday the 19 I got another call back to tell me the problem had been escalated to the callera™s supervisor and we would have an answer by 22nd. The fellow stated he felt that he was being aœBlown Offa by his fellow workers here in Atlanta and this was the reason for the escalation by his Supervisor.

Friday the 22nd I was with potential buyers and missed the Charter guya™s call so I will have to follow up with him on Monday. He had a aœfunnya voicemail. It seemed he needed a cross road for Cypress Springs as they could not locate the subdivision. Now I know new subdivisions can be hard to find, but this one has been here for 6 years. There has been some level of building going on for the last 3 years at least. You can find us on Google maps for crying out loud!

More updates to come this week!

PS feel free to follow my lead and submit your own complaint to the PSC and the Governora™s Office of Consumer Protection, details in the first posting.
