This past Saturday night was such a wonderful evening for Steve Palmer of Home South Communities, and the whole team at Tamra Wade and Partners- the 36th Annual OBIE Awards Banquet held November 12th, 2016 at the Marriott Marquis. More than 500 of our home builders and nominees were there to celebrate and receive awards. Home South Communities was honored for excellence in home building and home design. A panel of regional judges assembled by the Greater Atlanta Home Builders Association Sales and Marketing Council presented Home South Communities with three GOLD OBIE awards for 2016.
What are the Obie Awards?
The OBIE Awards began in 1980 and have grown throughout the years to now feature more than 100 building, remodeling, marketing and personal achievement categories in which to enter. The OBIE Awards, named after the obelisk shape of the actual award given, are the premier awards in the new home construction industry. Awards are given to recognize outstanding achievement in new home building, marketing, remodeling and personal achievement categories. The Sales and Marketing Council of the HBA presents the annual OBIE Awards every November. OBIE Award recipients stand out among their peers and are recognized for their outstanding achievements.
